Paris Hilton was born in New York City on February 27th, 1981. She's the granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, founder of the Hilton hotel chain. Before starting a career of a top model and then actress, Paris became widely famous as a clubber.
Following in the footsteps of her mother Kathy, and her aunts, Kim and Kylie - who started their career in Disney movies in early childhood - she first appeared in the movies when she was 10 years old, playing a 'beach girl' in Wishman, a low budget flick produced in 1991. Then she took a break in her acting career for 9 years, only to return to acting at age 19, playing in Sweetie Pie (2000), an independent movie.

After that Paris got a cameo appearance in Ben Stiller's Zoolander (2001). 2003 was a turning point for Paris, when Fox TV selected her and her sister to star in The Simple Life, their new reality show.Paris’ sister, Nicky, soon left the project, and Paris invited her best friend, Nicole Richie, daughter of Lionel Richie, the famous singer, as a replacement. The show was continued without any breaks, combining the charm of Paris and Nicole's playful humor.The project showed two high society ladies going on a trip to a small town where they live on a family farm, all in real time. Every week they tried to master some kind of unskilled labor, mostly failing to do so. The list of labors included things like milking a cow. However, the scantily dressed girls attracted loads of attention from the male populace of the town.
Before the show was even launched, however, an explicit amateur porn video leaked into the internet, exposing 19-year-old Paris having sex with then boyfriend, Rick Solomon. It was he who sold the 45 minute tape to one of the largest porn distributors. Despite the lawsuit threat, the movie even got published under the name of "One Night With Paris".

The extra publicity did not hurt Paris much,
and even the second season of The Simple Life was to be produced soon.
